Thats the only video i've really found on it so far, but some of the features sound cool:
- Create a song. Although these exclude vocals due to storage and possible copyright issues.
- You'll be able to name your song as well as creating album art. After you've done all that you can upload it to GH Tunes where anyone can download it.
- You'll be limited to 5 songs at first. But depending on the ratings you get you'll possibly be able to upload 10 or more after "getting signed"
- The song sharing mode will be in the Wii and PS2 versions also, but GI says it's unlikely that it'll be as robust as the PS3 and 360 versions.
- Drums, bass, vocals, guitar
- Create a rocker
- Create a guitar and drums
- All songs will be master tracks
- They don't want to discuss specifics on track listing out of fear of being scooped by the competition. However they confirmed 4 bands: Van Halen, The Eagles, Linkin Park and Sublime.
-Drum star power is activated by hitting both cymbals at once
-Bass career
Sounds to be like someone is ripping off of rockband :P
EDIT:
Thing I read from magazine scans:
-Drum pads are MUCH quieter than rockband
-Drum pads have better natural bounce than rockband
-Drums come wireless
-Singleplayer, Multiplayer, and Band modes
-Multiplayer HUD is the same as rockbands
-Boss battles are being kept but powerups will be online battle only

They better have HENDRIX or atleast SRV, if not BB King or Eric Clapton. If they don't have any of those guitarists, they suck at picking. Sublimes alright but they're not that great, also who the fuck are the eagles? Joe Satrianis a good pick. But GH seriously needs some more Hendrix. BB King would be awesome.

I really wish that the GH guys and the RB guys would either collaborate, or one of them just go out of business. We only need one, especially with GH coming out with this jigger.

I agree. My room is already cluttered as is right now with 3 different guitar controllers and a RB drum set. I dont need another damn drum set.
Although, I do like the cymbal idea. Would probably feel much more authentic. Still, I plan on getting it cause it sounds like its gonna be cool.

I heard they fucked up the cover of a Hendrix song so bad in GH1 (have no idea which one, never played GH1), that it was called a disgrace and they were banned from putting Hendrix songs in GH. Not sure tho.

Sweet, create a song sounds pretty good, I've always thought they needed a mode where you could just play the instrument, without having to stick to a song.
They have to have some maiden and zepplin in that mix.

This actually sounds pretty cool, I might pick up a copy. Never was into GH or RB, but now I just might think about it.

How the hell can you make a song with only 5 notes?Just assign each note to a power chord and then you've got the power to create 90% of all rock released this year. :haw:

Honestly, the only good part about this game from the sounds of it, is the Create-A-Song feature. Even still, I'm already able to do that with my Guitar Hero II for the PS2.

You did you know that the same note your playing on the top sting can be played, 1 string down - 5 to the left, Right?
Just set it in the thing once you record it, to what pitch you want, and your laughing.

..... no haha. It's kinda funny to throw that "blame" at Nintendo in this thread because Guitar Hero requires it's own special controller... and that's a guitar hero game...
Konami is jumping on the LOL BAND game bandwagon too...... (http://www.joystiq.com/2008/05/15/konami-jumps-on-the-band-wagon-with-rock-revolution/) I always expected a band game from Konami considering how they had Drum Mania (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2nIemHZ0Fts), Guitar Freaks (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ZOKZT2hvTc), and Karaoke Revolution (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sakowvC74bM) before all of this stuff exploded in popularity over here.
Hell, they even had the ability in a few of the arcade games that you could link the actual arcade machines together and play Drummania and Guitar Freaks together....
All that being said... none of the Konami fans are eager for DJ Hero (http://www.joystiq.com/2008/02/17/activision-files-trademark-for-dj-hero/). We're afraid they're going to steal Beatmania (IIDX) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OeRkZzqJhqI) and remove any sort of difficulty to it by making the notes hit/miss like it is in Guitar Hero. (But not like how it is in any other Bemani Game... where you have ratings per each note.)
Also, I really am not looking forward to 3 different drum controllers and 3 different guitars... People set rules for this stuff. There's a reason why Harmonix didn't change their Guitar for RockBand (significantly). They don't want to fuck over their players. That's the same reason why they allowed Guitar Hero guitars to work in Rockband. Activision was deciding to be royal fuckers and said that Harmonix's guitar can't function with Guitar Hero for some reason. (It's not a technical reason mind you)
Hey look at all those links....

I especially like you you use a guitar pick stylus instead of the normal DS stylus.

I really don't like having to stab at my touchscreen with a guitar pick, but that's just me.
