LOL, looks way better than crysis. The african landscape and the colours, the visual treatment is just really nice looking. Crysis was too desaturated and ambient.

I think that Crysis actually looks more realistic, but in a more "photorealism" sense. FarCry 2's Dunia Engine uses like a minimum amount of code from CryEngine2, so they have a few similarities, but it's very different.

FarCry 2 uses cool shaders and lights to give you the feeling of a barren African landscape. It's missing the true-to-the-point realism that Crysis has with it's shaders (only on Very High, obviously).

The plants and the leaves fit much better ambient-wise in CryEngine 2. Dunia is incredibly good for handling the plants and the leaves based on how they react with particles, though, but they end up looking plain and unrealistic.

Yeah, but I dunno, I just think the style of the visuals look better to me. I'm not totally for the whole reaslism look though. I like a bit of bloom and glow and intense colours.

In case you care the storyline in Farcry 2 has nothing to do with Farcry 1, there is no mutants, only gritty realism. You also don't play Jack Carver either. Meh he was a loser anyways.
