Well, Portal: Still Alive was just announced and is coming to the Xbox 360 over Xbox Live arcade. No other information has been revealed. Any of you guys interested in this?

I would be if it were for PC like it should be. =D

Please don't tell me Valve is whoring out to the 360 as well... I mean, if they got FFXII, what next? In the words of the AVGN, "This is awful, this is aaaass."

Hey, it's Portal, so I'll definitely download it. I can't wait for it.

It'll be remade for the PC by the steam community in less than a week. I'm very dissapointed that it's not going to be launched immediately on the PC though. Everyone storm to http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/index.php and bitch. Bitching enough will work.

You know damn well M$ paid high for the exclusive. I don't really care that it's 360 only right away because my PC kinda fails for gaming anyways...

It's Source. Any PC made in 2004 can run it. Also, will download. I'll get Orange Box for both console and PC, just because my PC likes to crash on me, though it is perfectly fine playing Source games on max.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that it's not going to be an XBLA exclusive- I don't think they could get away with it.
You don't know how hard it is to say that instead of doing what I want to do, which is assume that it will be exclusive so I can scream at Microsoft for being so scummy as to buy Portal all for themselves. =P

I really don't think this is anything like a sequel. Probably just some new test chambers that don't continue the storyline or anything. Like an expansion of sorts, but not. Valve would NOT go so far as to make the sequel to one of their most loved games a 360 exclusive. It would piss off their main player base, the PC gamers.

Yeah, from what I read, Sill Alive is just an expansion to the first Portal. And we still have to wait until later to actually get Portal 2.

It looks like Microsoft isn't making the same mistakes twice (http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3167600) with the popular Portal (http://www.1up.com/do/gameOverview?cId=3152177) franchise. At today's E3 press conference (http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3168697), the company teased a new installment called Portal: Still Alive. Essentially an expansion for the original game, Still Alive will feature new stages and Achievements, and be available exclusively on Xbox Live Arcade this fall. GLaDOS tells us the Enrichment Center has been hard at work, which should at least keep us satisfied until Portal 2 (http://www.1up.com/do/gameOverview?cId=3168031) comes next year.
