...And I'm taking my time to decide on a graphics card that suits me.

This is the one I currently have my eye on.

I do not have any plans to buy it online, and in the store its 150$ so this is probably the highest I'd go.

Anyway, I'd like to know if anyone has any experience with this card, or knows something around that price range that would be a better choice.

This PC will be used primarily for 3ds max, and games, and what I have chosen here appeared to meet those needs, I just want some feedback.

Thanks.

I have that graphics card but mine is made by Powercolor I personally love it. I play at 1680x1050 and can play all games on the highest settings. I can play Crysis on very high except for a few levels that contain a lot of things like trees.

Id recommend it to anyone that has a budget.

If you shift a little higher, newegg has the $169 Sapphire HD 4850. Everyone is gonna tell you to buy so just save save save and BUY IT!

Yeah, go for the HD4850, it's a little more expensive, and about 3x more performant in many games, it's really worth it.

Sel, go for the 4850, I see it going for minimally $155 here. Scratch that, $150.

I'm a bad person, I went with the 3870.

They were out of stock of the 4850, and I was impatient to build this. Anyway, it works fine for Crysis, halo etc etc, so I'm good for now.
