Ok, guys I'm having a bit of a problem, can you see in part 1 how it is smaller in width than part 2? Well I'm wanting to have an 45 degree angle and be able to keep the same width in part 2 as part 1 has, is that possible? Or is there any other methods I could take to get the same look.

Umm...I'm no expert at geometry, but if you extended part 2 farther, it would increase the angle on the outside edge and change the geometry. To have full congruency between the two parts you'd have to have a 45:45 degree ratio on both the inner and the outer angles.

Are you serious? This is so simple. Just take 2 minutes to use your head.

Move the vertices on the bottom left corner out? I think hes hoping he wouldnt have to do it manually.

I guess you couldn't be bothered to use two instances of a part to figure it out, could you?
