I've been playing around with photo shop for a little while, but I want to learn how to be advanced with it. I'd want to learn graphical creation (Vectors etc etc). Does anyone have any great photo shop tutorials that they could possibly point out to me? I don't have very much experience in photo shop beside the basics, so it would need to start somewhere relatively small.

Don't use Photoshop for creation - use Illustrator. Take an Intro to Graphic Design class at your local community college if you get a chance.

The pen tool is really limited in photoshop. Use illustrator for vector based imaging. Photoshop is for raster based imagin.

Those two books will go over everything. I personally have the photoshop book below here and the ICIAB.

Ok thanks :). But there's a problem... I'm attempting to dl the trial for Illustrator from adobe, except the downloader client thing is stuck on the Java splashscreen and isn't loading.

Fix Java then maybe? I'm just making a quick guess, but it could be the problem.
