How do I install custom maps to halo 2 Vista

well this is what i want to know....how do i install maps i download straight from the internet for example i get a map from halomaps.org and i want to install the map to my game but i dont know how can you guys please help me by telling me how to put them there

nope. Just drag/drop

Don't count on the maps showing up ingame right away. Whenever I manually add maps for some reason they don't show up ingame for a while.

Make sure you extract it first. The file you put into the maps folder should be (whatever).map

NOT (whatever).rar or (whatever).zip.

well for me i dont extract it,it just comes out as (whatever).map and some details for me and i dont know how to extract the zip folder.

How come the maps never show up after i upload them?

When you're choosiung your maps, you have to go to the "Custom" part (there are arrows that'll cycle through the types) when you make your server.
