I think people just stopped using it and it wasn't worth keeping up, not to mention it got raped by spam bots.

Of course if someone could retrieve the gameplay guide for future reference that would be grand.

The user interest has dwindled. We want to keep it up, but the spam was becoming too much of a problem. The domain is actually expiring soon and we were thinking about dropping it. We'll have to move the Wiki to a new home.

Also will you back up all the currently "legit" info or will you just let the website die and then start from scratch (if a new hosted is decided)?

Well, I finally upgraded MediaWiki and installed the NukeDPL extension.

Since we did it wrong the first time, the database was fucked up and we had no organization or policies. We're going to drop the H2VWiki like a bad habit and restart fresh with the ModaciWiki, this time not rushing to go live with it.
