Yeah, Fable 2 is going to be great. However, I'm not to sure if I like the controls too too much, from what I've heard of. If it's what I understood, what you do in combat is defined by how you hit the X button. I maybe wrong though.

Really? I played the first one like 3 years ago at a friends place, couldn't stand it. It never felt immersive to me, and it said I could virtually do whatever the fuck I wanted, and I couldn't. It was extremely linear, and when the main subject of gameplay is to do what you want and be the character you want to be, while at the same time conforming to a path, it just ends up being a long grind of uneventful stuff, with no cool moments that make you go "wow". Games like Half Life and Halo are linear as hell, but they still capture you, they give you those scripted moments that are scripted, but they're beautiful. Fable was the most forgettable over hyped piece of waffle I've played in a while. When you focus on non linearity, do it right, or it comes out working like one of those pocket digimon things from the late 90's. Time consuming, but fucking BAWWWWring.

Heres hoping the second one actually is good.

wtf is Mark VII? Also the hype around Fable II doesn't revolve around the Hal armor. The first one didn't need it, and look THAT sold amazingly good. the gameplay was more fun then alot of other RPGs I have played. BTW that reminds me, does anyone know of another kingdom hearts coming?

No, I know you made a typo or something. I think that you can only have the Hal armor and sword in the Limited Edition or something, which is obviously more expensive, so it's just a way to get more money.

The combat is shallow but it wasn't all that deep before, and you do use 3 buttons in Fable 2 <_<

L does something extra for ranged attacks, R helps with magic selection (personally I hate the new magic system, it doesn't make sense why they changed it)

I just beat the game, played for a bit, and now my character can't move. At all. I can travel to a combat area, get hit, and occasionally shoot, but my sword is constantly drawn and i can't swing it. I turned off my 360 and got back on. Still can't move.

Played it. Unintentionally slaughtered all of Westcliff, making me turn evil, and thus slaughter all of Albion just because the game made me. :lmao: I was all pale-skinned, evil-eyed, and wearing monk robes. I looked like a cross between a Tech Priest and a Sith Lord, shocking everybody with lightning.

I must say, setting up outside a tavern with a buddy and flintlock rifles and cutting down the people as they run out in terror is VERY amusing...though it made me feel like a Nazi, especially because a lot of them were gypsies...=x
