My post is at the bottom.

I for one am tired of hearing their excuses and rational for ignoring their fans and communitys, let your voice be heard too.

Because H2V is better, tbh.

The rest of the active CE modders are here and nobody really plays CE frequently anymore. :( PC was what actually breathed life into GBX... then CE came and brought a new world, extending it's life. Without either, GBX will never be as active. :(

Yeah, this doesn't really affect me, since I've never really been to Gearbox... :/

Ennui pretty much summed it up. People stuck around Gearbox because multiplayer mod communities thrive when bound to a single place. As the game grew old, so did the members. They just didn't stick around. Without a current multiplayer game to mod, there's not much of a reason to be that active.

I will say that CE had something unique. You dont see such avid activity in many titles. Crysis, Unreal, etc. dont have half the activity in forums that CE did.

Unfortunately, Hijikata also had a good point: some of that activity wasn't really good.

The CE community did have lots of activity, but it definitely wasn't the best community around compared to some others, in both content and members. :(

I'm not saying the entirety of the community was shit, and I really don't want to single out Halomods like everyone usually does, but while the CE community brought in a number of great personalities and great talent, it spawned some of the worst long-running dramabombs and morons I've seen.

FTFY the community may be slow but it's still alive and that is enough to say that there is still plenty of drama bombs and good personas on Halo Modding.

When I was posting the HCEL thread here I also wanted to post it there, until Dr told me that the CE section was moved to old games and since CE technically had a section I couldn't post in the Off Topic. I couldn't even see the old games section until i looked for it like 100 times. :(

If forums are "dying", so is the human race tbh. Honestly, this will always be inevitable to some degree vOv

The internet is not a big truck, it's a series of testicular cancer :|

Because H2V is better, tbh.Just as planned.

The rest of the active CE modders are here and nobody really plays CE frequently anymore. :( CE was what actually breathed life into GBX... without it not nearly as many people would care.PC is what got the forums active, then CE came and gave us a new future! :)
