View Full Version : Obama assassination plot

Law enforcement agents have broken up a plot by two neo-Nazi skinheads to assassinate Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama and shoot or decapitate 88 black people, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco Firearms and Explosives said Monday. In court records unsealed Monday in U.S. District Court in Jackson, Tenn., federal agents said they disrupted plans to rob a gun store and target a predominantly African-American high school in a murder spree that was to begin in Tennessee. Agents said the skinheads did not identify the school by name. source found by Donut (http://news.aol.com/article/feds-bust-skinhead-plot-to-kill-obama/227448)

I know, who would expect this from a couple of skinheads?
Really, I think they'd have gotten pretty well killed or captured after the school shooting, and imagine what a school shooting perpetrated by white supremacists would have done to the election...?

Or FBI and CIA investigations into radical domestic terrorist hate groups would be accelerated and any people of interest would be caught before incident, while at the same time doing more through background investigations to military hopefuls and lack of travel to states where high powered rifles are not banned.

Regardless of my or anyone's political views of feelings towards Obama, we can all only hope this never happens. Imagine the black community out cry, it's going to be insane. No one will be innocent, any white man (assuming it's a white man who kills him) will be held responsible and regardless of who kills them, I fear we'll still get the blame.
I don't know about you guys but I'm going to go start setting up the noose traps and set some crosses ablaze just in case.

The only reason the government is gunna let Obama win is to have him be "assassinated by terrorists" to help fund a war in Iran or something. Since hes such a popular figure in the public, it could cause a war rally like none we've ever seen.

This is given Bush is actually racist. He might be an idiot but i give him acknowledgment for two things: being smart enough to get elected in the first place, (or hire staff that knows how to run a campaign) and second not being smart enough to be a racist.

Racism is still very real Kenney. I have some southern *sigh* family who would be very happy to see Obama's head shattered open rather than behind the oval office desk just because he isn't white. There may not be as many radical racists running around as there used to, but all it takes is one with a rifle to put the man down, and him being elected president is VERY likely to stir a few up.

I live in Oregon, which is pretty much a melting pot of lots of kinds of people, and let me tell you racism is still quite rampant among blue-collar workers. The fact that someone came up with a plot doesn't scare me, but it does show how scared some people are of real change. Never again on assassination, I say.

On topic: I can't believe that we still have this kind of problem (fanatical racism, that is). I mean, not that I literally don't believe it, but that it's just shocking to me that after all the progress we've made, some people are still, for lack of a better word, stupid.
Snaf, I think you may be right about aliens being here but hiding themselves until the time is right. Fuck it, if there were aliens now, I don't care if they are the most advanced, peace-loving, generous race in the universe bestowing eternal life on us, because some people would still hate them to the point of murder.

I believe the phrase "took one for the team" would be appropriate here.
Rob, the reason we have have a lot of problems in the world still is simple. Education, or more specifically, lack thereof. Not just school education, but education from parents, the community, and so on. More and more parents are dumping their kids in daycare or what have you and then going to work all day or going out with friends, and as a result the kids end up not picking up the kind of stuff they should at an early age. Of course, there are also the times where the education is the problem... and unfortunately not a lot can be done about that, short of hunting down redneck couples and forcibly sterilising them so they can't feed their kids bullshit (oh please God let this become law).

Most schools and other "places of learning" tend to avoid topics of race, and religion (unless it is focusing on one specific religion ie: christian schools) for fear of offending someone (and subsequently getting bombed) but really look around at what's happened in the past. The regular dumbfuck who goes and blames his bad marks, loss of a job, etc etc, on white people. The school system then decides that they want to avoid bullshit like this (really cant blame them), so they tend to leave the educating of race and religion to the parents. Most of which are either too busy to teach their kids about it, and when they do teach their kids every kid will get a different bit of knowledge from their parents, simply because parents tend to have radically different views on all these things. Some are racist, some are as scared as the school boards to talk about it.
Personally I think it would work best to get a group of people who perfectly balance out anyone elses biasses, to make a strict curriculum concerning the history of slavery, all the way to current events.
But hey what are the chances of that happening :awesome:

Where is this thought that most black people scream racist at their own faults to white men come from? People don't do that, at least not anymore. I see alot of people on these forums claim we call people "crackers" but go ballistic when they call us "niggers". We don't call white people "crackers" out of the blue unless they themselves are racist to whites. Usually these assumptions aren't valid anymore.

Hate is legal in the US, just not hate-crimes.
:smith:
Also, I would hope it's a given that the source of hatred is ignorance. There is nothing to fear in something you know well. There is also the fetishism of near-differences, but that's almost always rooted in greed, not hated.
Also, this is what I have to say to you deniers of racism (http://www.modacity.net/forums/showthread.php?p=281581#post281581).

sorry guys...Wrong, sorry. The experiences we went through when my dad taught and coached at Fort Wayne Community High School is plenty enough to prove you wrong. There was even an incident where two of my dad's (black) football players were arrested for really no other reason than being black in a white neighborhood.
In some places it's better, but it's really not as uncommon as you think.

Actually, considering I've never heard a skinhead something in public that wasn't "fighting words" it's debatable whether their speech rights are really protected or ought to be.
I really don't think the NSM has a right to protest, let alone exist.
Not to mention this country is supposed to give

Yeah, plus there are the exceptions to freedom of speech:
Defamation- Jews constantly steal your money.
Causing panic- Jews are going to destroy you if you don't rise above them.
Fighting words- We need to kill the Jewish race.
Incitement to crime- Stomp their heads in.
Sedition- Establish a fascist state.
Obscenity- kykes.
Now, these are all establishments of the court system none of them are rock solid law, but it wasn't until the 80's or so that the NSM was actually allowed to hold events after winning their court case. My point being that you can't take for granted these people's right to do this.
Oh, and I make no claim of objectivity in my regards for Nazis, really.
