db.pokesav.org
The database it up, I didn't know if I should post htis or not but here are some basic features.
Has downloads for almost all event pokemon ever from GBA games to NDS games for diamond/pearl/platinum.
Provides info on editing the .sav file of your pokemon saved game and lets you download pokesav which is basically the ultimate editor.
Just in case anyone here is still interested in pokemon... here's a new side of it. Memory hacking editing.

I'm not a big pokemon fan anymore, but for those who are, I'd like to add this in conjunction with the database there^^^^^^^

Amazing how Pikachu is the least missed... lol
Also, I wonder if there will be one with every generation, that would be a long one

lol, Gamesharking pokemon and Goldeneye was what really kick started me joy for reverse engineering. I had so many codes I came up with for GE...then I kinda...well broke my gameshark :-3. :(
Now the world is totally anti-gameshark with shit like XBL and PSN. Online gaming was a big tradeoff for the gameshark engine :saddowns:

all the origins are in the goofy names.
Pika means electric or something in that area, and chu is like....the generic japanese mouse noise.
Basically, electric squeak.

I'll always love the original games on the Gameboy, and I still play them from time to time on an emulator (Lost/broke original cartridges). Don't care to keep up with the new stuff.

or Electric Noise XD
Heathen has pretty much got it, all pokemon are based off of something in real life, let it be animate or inanimate objects.
Ex: Pencile or Penicillian = Pencil or Penicillin
Also I still have my Gameboy Color, still in working condition

I was playing my gameboy for lulz yesterday because I had to go to a movie with my friends and my lady. Just to make them feel like shit, I would sit there and play my games while they tried to talk to me. Ruby version ftw.

Also have you heard there coming out with a new pokemon game (standard style) named either Pokemon Platnium or Pokemon Amber?

I believe Platinum is the one to complete the Diamond and Pearl generation (with new features of course).

Yeah I just skipped Diamond/Pearl and now I'm waiting for the Platinum version. The games are all pretty same, though. Gamefreak could make some new shit for the series...
I was a huge fan once and I owned most of the games, my faves are still Red and Crystal ^^

One thing, is that the 3rd version for that region is basically the same, except maybe a couple of new features, more catchable pokemon from the other 2 games etc

If you want to play platinum there's a japanese rom for it. Also there's an english patch to make the rom mostly english but there's still some Japanese in it. Just google it. Cuz it's kinda against the rulesl to post it on these forums.

but I refuse to acknowledge any pokemon >151
So D:
And Platinum is horribly translated so I would just wait.

I already have Platinum. Japanese Import ftw.
The game isnt that bad, its fun for a while.
I already beat the game, and I got my own house :D
Although its the same house for everyone, the items can be bought via doing things within the game. One is beating the Elite Four 10 times to get a Piano.
Another is walk 300,000 steps for something.
:P
Edit: I also forgot to mention that Platinum's Dialogue is practically the same as the English D/P, so I had no trouble deciphering the game.

It's essentially the same thing. Kobra, cobra, they just wanted to make it a little different.

Thats a hard one...
Mew + #2 = Mewtwo
Replace the variable "Mew" with the number 1, and MewTwo is the outcome.
See, math does work in life XD

Pokemon platinum?
I didn't like any of the GBA games after Gold and silver b/c you couldn't go back to the other regions. Gold kicked ass when you took the SS Anne back to Khanto and played Red/Blue over again.
Whatever, i had fun with Ruby on my PSP.
