Just to give you all another great example. My school has club days, once a month on a Wednesday. Well in my welding shop we have a metal sculpture club that is only open to welders. Well me another welder in my class, after a lot of debate, decided to make a Christmas reeth. Well we got signed off by the welding teacher. First day we got a circle tacked together, second day we built the inner circle. After 3 days we had everything welded together.
We were pretty happy with it, was not perfect but i doubt anyone would care. So we told our welding teacher if we could go get some pine tree branches to weave in between. Well she had to call maintenance to cut them down because apparently we are a liability to cut down a few pine branches. (despite the fact we work with oxy acetylene cutting proses, which involves using gases that could blow us, and the floor above us up if turned on improperly) Well its been 2 weeks since we finished it, apparently a Christmas reef would be offensive to some people. Our welding instructor called the head of the welding class who has been calling the higher ups in our school to ask whats going on.

Be warned, a Christmas reef is apparently offensive. 3 days work, right down the drain. Wooo...
