When we were fixing a problem with someone's sound (don't remember where the thread is), I noticed that we have a sound card space, but no speaker space. Though it isn't usually a source of most technical problems we find around here, it would be good for the lonely few audiophiles who do encounter these problems/want to show their mp3n0r.

Mouse and keyboard is better than speakers. Though i'd like to take this opportunity to brag about using a receiver, cabinet speakers and an 8" powered sub by cerwinvega instead of regular, boring desktop audio. It produces a far superior sound range. Thank you.

This just reminded me that my dad had sony speakers (I think their 5.1 ones) that he never uses, I might try to hook them up to the PC.

H-Omega Striker 7.1 sound card in combination with the Logitech X-530 5.1 setup here. Sound quality is very good.

I use the Asus 7.1 HD Sound Card that came with my motherboard and a set of Logitech Z-5500's... Gets the job done, loudly...
