Would it be possible to expand the "awards" for people who get multiple kills beyond 4 kills withing 4 seconds of each other?

Once you get a killtacular, the award will be continuously repeated until the player fails to kill within four seconds of the previous kill. I would like to get it up to the Halo 3 "Killionaire". Also, more than the two standard spree awards would be nice to have if I could add them.

I only know you can edit the existing "awards" but I don't know if you can make more of them :/

Multikills and sprees are hardcoded. You can only edit the text or the sounds.

Best bet would be to replace the Running Riot with it. Like everyone said, all the announcements are hardcoded.

IE There can be only three multikill announcements, and only two killing spree announcements. There's only so much you can do with Halo, but the majority of what you can do is really easy. Things like importing sounds should be really simple when you've got the slightest hang of the editing kit.

Try to figure out how to use Tool, Sapien and Geurilla. Import your sound with Geurilla (it has to be a certain bitrate IIRC) and compile your level with Tool. I think I heard somewhere that you can modify the sounds into the base maps (IE BloodGulch, Hang 'Em High, ETC) but not custom-made maps. Don't quote me on that though.

Good luck

I'll look into what needs to be done to possibly implement something like this into Open Sauce

That would be awesome.

The Double\Triple Kill in Halo 1 is actually pretty hard, unless you hit a warthog with a rocket and its full and it kills them all within 0.5 seconds.

I'm looking to extract all of the halo dialogue and convert it to mp3 format. I'm looking for pretty much everything there is, like what's available here (http://nikon.bungie.org/misc/dialogue.html) but without all the background game sounds. Could someone let me know what I'd meed to do? I've got some basic knowledge of the HEK, and I've got a map modeled/textured/in-game before.

Obviously I'm going to need to get the tags or something from Halo PC as well, for all of the single player dialogue.

This could probably be done with some heavy scripting, but i might be mistaken

I'm chill with any type of player, but from what I've seen you mention "pistol fags" in at least 50% of your posts. :eyesroll:

I haven't talked about Halo 1's gameplay outside of the "Two Years..." thread in quite a while. :S

I'll see your pistol fags and raise you banshee whores :downs:

But seriously, no need to continue into a talk about "<tool of destruction> fags". thanks.

Leet did medals once where he made new fonts and added the Double Kill/Triple/Overkill medals to the text. Don't know why anyone else HASN'T thought of that yet.

I haven't played Halo in awhile, and compared to Halo 3's 4 second rule, I think its hard, in normal gameplay that is, like normal shields\weapon spawns.
