..or at least for ants.

This parasite, which I can't find the name or scientific name for, takes control of ants making them latch on to tall plants that cows eat so that it spreads to the cows liver and becomes an adult. Glad this doesn't affect humans, I think.
Edit: Fixed embeded video.

Scientists estimate a large percentage of humans have a parasite which lowers their IQ by double digits and minimally influences their inclination towards sex and makes them more outgoing. Basically the parasite is in all your stereotypical blondes and jocks. I'll find the exact info later.

you just need [youtube] tags, not [html] plus youtube, you're defeating the purpose...

"any grazing mammal with a nice warm liver..."
humans can allow it to mature, if they eat the ant.
But I doubt it affects humans in the way you think

Bugs can be really cool when they aren't annoying you (i.e. I'll kill every mosquito I see but I like to stop and observe butterflies and ladybugs and so on).
This bug you posted reminds me of some awesome wasp that injects its eggs directly into the bodies of caterpillars, thus saving many plants.

It is only using [youtube] tags, unless I forgot to delete something.

I showed this to my friend who used the Zombie Survival Guide for an essay in Composition.
He's thoroughly convinced that humanity is doomed.

I believe this has been posted before, and, if I'm not mistaken, with an extremely similar title.

Sorry, I haven't been checking the forums that long, so didn't know if it was posted already.

Nah it was something else that actually fucked around with the insects form and made them insane, I was thinking this was it, but it wasn't
Still cool though.
Just as cool that it doesn't affect us. Hopefully

See, I knew that our doom would either be the mainland European's fault for building a potentially threatening super-collider for reasons that can be accomplished otherwise, or we'd get eventually fucked over by Flood-like parasites that take over ants which will eventually fuck us over. Doesn't Earth just have the greatest creatures ever? I'm sort of worried about ant-eaters eating this shit and becoming infected. Then it will be between a parasite and Ebola for the most deadly organism on the planet. -_-
*It's a bloody tapeworm. :gonk:
