Is it just me, or does it looks smoother/more streamlined than it does in h3? Not saying this is necessarily bad or good, just different.

Yeah it looks a little more smooth. Maybe that's because there is no texture though. I like it.

I find that that Hornet actually looks pretty good, can't wait to actually see it in game. The basic shape seems pretty on, but that's just me.

Indeed. I think it's that the main body is too thin - it's thicker in H3, and IIRC the front is even a bit bulbous.

Too thin!? Crap. I had trouble making it thinner at the back because it is waay to thick. The cock pit section must be too thin then. Lol.

Other than the missing ski or whatever that thing on the bottom is, I would say its pretty dang accurate. If you say its way off then I would think you are just nitpicking.

pretty damn good I think... what I think is making it look skinny though is a few minor inaccuracys with the front.
/nitpicking - the uh I really have no idea what youd call them, steps? on the sides of it, how they curve down at the ends dont seem to have enough verticle bend they seem like they need to be a bit thicker, and something with where those "steps" meet the cockpit in the front, that piece between the cockpit and the "step" is off in shape or scale, I'd need more angles to pinpoint what it is exactly.
Now this is being really picky, the sections under the thrusters, theres a flat part of the cylender extruding out perpendicular then it angles inward creating kind of a cone shape, move the perpendicular secion of the cones down very slightly, it appears to come down slightly more in the picture posted above, thus making the angle on the cone slightly off. /nitpicking
Really I think its a great model, but if it was my model, I'd be going nuts trying to figure out whats making it look thin.. especially since its white right now and once you texture it and shade it darker, its only going to look thinner.
I'd also agree with making the cockpit maybe slightly larger, and maybe slightly more bulbous/bent out.

Still more parts and adjustments. But ive mad eit a bit fatty. I think it could be fatery still at the front, right on the nose area though.

That is a lot better. The areas where the passengers sit seem a bit small still tho. Maybe make it just under a foot wider as far as real life scale goes.

Get rid of the holes for bullets/rockets. Those aren't modeled in on the original, and can be added in the texture.
EDIT: Also, you need the handles on the sides for passengers to hold onto, which are on the Halo 3 hornet. I'd get you some reference pics, but my 360 has the rrod.

Because it won't look right? Because it saves tris that can be used for details he didn't add in? Sure, he could keep them, but it looks better without the holes.

If you textured it right it would look fine. Just have it fade to black as you go into the hole. Sort of how the bottom of the seats in the warthog fades out into shadow.

That doesn't matter for the barrel of a gun, considering it's basically going to look solid black if it's modeled or painted.

True ^ But I like details. if you want them removed, then ask the person who is going to texture it remove them before they unwrap it. They are staying on my version. They are only 5 sides or afew more, not really many tris tbh...

sup let's waste tris on things you won't see when you're using the vehicle instead of improving the silhouette of the vehicle and important details. PS 5 sided barrel holes suck, you wasted tris for nothing.

You really need to chill the fuck out. Plus, you don't seem to understand that there's no public way to rip from halo 3 retail maps, which is the only public build of the game containing the hornet.
