I've been looking at this one forum LINK (http://forum.halomaps.org/index.cfm?page=forum&forumID=4) for some time now, and it has really helped me a lot. There may be a few idiots but nothing that you don't see here, but people there talk so much about halo that there is always topics to discuss in. I hope this can help many others find help and maybe influence some more to finish projects.

Long time lurker, first time poster here.

I like halomaps along with many others who prefer those forums over these. Yes our community may not be skilled as the people here, but I don't understand why you have to make a running joke out of us. Bad Waffle, just because we aren't professional doesn't give you the excuse to laugh at us. I'm sure you weren't the modeling god you are when you started out. So you people don't have to like us, but at least respect us for trying.

Great thread guys! Let's all make fun of beginner kids! Yeah, they're making fools of themselves, but it's not our problem if it's not on our site.

E : Duce can reopen this as long as he makes it clear that the thread was supposed to be serious (as hard as that was to discern) regarding how Halomaps is friendlier to newbies than we are.
