So last weekend i went to a gay night club in the Bris-vegas out in the Valley called the beat.

was pretty cool i must say.
tried about 3 pubs and clubs before we ended up there because we where just getting fucking annoyed by the shitty music.
i mean snoop dog.... are you fucking serious...

had 4 areas in it,
the street bar (shit)
out back they had the Gay bar, up top the lesbian bar and they just had a normal bar as well.
all 3 bars/ nightclubs had fucking wicked music, techno and sound pumping till 5 am.

now you see i'm a shit fucking dancer, and just sorta bust some moves and ya know, bump into people lol, where normally you'd get some dickwad wanna smack ya in the jaw ya get a laugh.
most of the night we where just chilling in the lesbian bar seeing some chickie babes getting into it, having some drinks ect.

Nightclubbing done right tbh.

Most fun i've had in a long time,
but it's a gaybar so my question is this,
who here would go to a nightclub or a bar and get wasted even though you knew it was gay?
are ya worried about seeing dick on dick action, ya worried about being hit on or would you laugh it off, trash it up and shake what joo mumma gave ya?
whats ya opinion.

Dude's are aloud into les bars?
Cool.

Also, would happily go to a gaybar. I knew a dude who actually worked behind the counter at one. He was straight (and a professional body builder/fitness coach :v: ), and once he made it clear that he was strait, he didn't have any issues. Apparently it was a great place to work.

Bad fucking choice man. I know 3 guys who I went to tafe with who went to gay bars and got followed home/harassed in the toilets/bar/groped/almost drugged.

I can't dance with people who are only associating with me based on my sexual organs BEFORE my personality even gets included into the equation. Being straight in a place like that also introduces massive fucking confusion on both parties. Which could cause anger and a disturbance. It's just fucking stupid and evil to me, to both people.

If your straight, hang around some fucking straight people, if you want to party. Your fucking with gay peoples feelings otherwise. Don't confuse this with NEVER HANG AROUND GAY PEOPLE. I mean, don't shit up a gay guys habitat and confuse the shit out of them.

Think about it, your gay, at your home, your environment and you see a person you like, you go up to them chat them up, being a neo new world piece of shit they act all nice and rub up with them, having a chat and a drink, then at the end of the night when you ask them wether they'dlike to come back to your aplace, they tell you their straight.

That would downright piss me the fuck off if I was gay.

It's almost like straight people exploit gay people for their fun happy natured attitude for their own personal night of fun and laughs.

No lol are you serious? I'd never go to a gay bar, unless I was drunk first and got rallied into going...but I wouldnt consciously go.

Why? Its bad enough me accidentally rubbing arses with a dude in a reg club when I'm dancing, I do not want to go to a place where people "accidently on purpose" do it. Yes most gay people are tackful, but there are shady characters out there too, just like straight people.

As for going to see the lesbians? Yes there may be one or two good looking lesbians, but the majority of them will fat and ugly.

I can have a great time in a reg club I'm fine, even though I dont go out on the pull, I can still meet good looking straight girls.

Apparently the dancing and partying etc is pretty fun even if you aren't gay.

All that needs to happen is that at least one person in the group needs to be gay and the rest were guests or "dragged in". Oh yeah, and lets not forget we're talking California here. Hollywood to be specific. ;p

Protip: your typical lesbian does not look like megan foxx. I have seen both "butch" lesbians and lesbians who you could not pick out in a crowd, but either way watching them kiss is a huge dissapointment if your expecting porno class arousal.

Another protip: Gay dudes are no scarier than regular dudes. Of course they are still guys, and there are gay men who carry the male "pig" stereotype, so its not unlikely that you may meet one that will treat you the same way a straight perv would treat a woman.

I find it funny the fact most of you have never been clubbing and assume theres no difference between out and about, and in a club.

There is a big difference between just chilling with some one who happens to be gay doesnt mean anything, to hanging around in a gay bar.

Back in the universities' residence there was a guy on my floor, got on really well with him and so did everyone else, he came out and told us he was gay, we had no clue and thought he was just good friends with the girls just because he was a playa lol. After telling us, he never associated himself with me and my friends and never talked to us.

People are afraid of gay people because of the common stereotype that all they do is want to have sex with you and nothing else. But its hard not to see them that way, for instance when you see a gay pride rally or parade, you always see those muscular, oiled up guys in spedo's dancing around perversely. And its true that some of them are like that, and those are the kind that really annoy me, because it would not be acceptable for any straight man to do that.

Exhibit A: http://www.gridskipper.com/assets/resources/2006/06/06192006.3.jpg

On the other hand though, there are the ones who act completely normal, and just happen to be gay. I honestly wouldn't mind going to a gay bar if all of them were just normal people, who happened to be gay, and are there to dance, then sure why not? But I'll be honest, if I say anyone like the men in the picture up there, I would be very uncomfortable.

Its an awesome thought (refering to the first post). I haven't been to clubs in Boston, mainly because I've been spoiled by the many clubs back in Europe (Aquarius and others whose names I can't think of at the moment); to me, Boston is a city and I associate cities having seedy clubs (I also never hear people going to them).

Good times. It is sad to see that we can't just, you know, talk about gay/mixed clubs casually like they were any other club and not start pages of dialog about homophobia.
