Yea, no. You generally don't get game play with teasers.

Saw some perks on the top right of the screen as the men in the elevator walk out, first one was Stopping Power, but the rest I don't know. The crossed knives one looked interesting though.

Holy smokes you guys can actually distinguish the sounds...I mean I've played HL2 like crazy and I didn't pick that up.

I'm all excited for a sequel to Modern Warfare, but this teaser was a bit disappointing, as all it basically told me was that there will indeed be a game, but nothing else. Oh well, it's early in development so I can't complain, and I guess teasers aren't really meant to give away gameplay aspects. But yes, the way this teaser was presented was drop-dead COOL. 1337. Loved it.

If the intro video for the full game is done like this, it'll be the first one that I'll actually bother to sit through more than once.

I think they are splitting the Modern Warfare into a separate series, but I don't think the COD name will be dropped (probably saved for another WW2 game).

e: just watched that teaser. Sweet, I think I saw hectic first-person snowmobile action (suddenly I'm thinking about 007 Nightfire and the on-rails snowmobile level, heh).

It probably is still Call of Duty but they probably didn't include the COD part since that promo was supposed to be very short. The person writing the description of the article clearly didn't care that it's a Call of Duty game.

These guys are great writers. Brilliant idea starting a new series with a storyline that runs through them. I LOVE how it picks up right where you left off in Modern Warfare.

This seems like it would be a kickass movie too. I just hope the gameplay is more like 6-8 hours long instead of the 4 hours the last one was.

I don't think it would be much different than having those people in the helicopter. It certainly isn't a question of weight.

I just read up on the way it works with helicopters. I turns out that the line is actually reeled in by a motor which is why the soldiers were pulled out of the castle hella fast.

The co-op mode is what I'm looking forward to. Even if it can't be done in the main single player storyline, it's better than nothing, and I enjoyed Mile High Club anyway so I definitely will have fun.

Btw, I saw the Christ statue in the Rio de Janeiro scene...wonder what controversies that's going to spark...(a la Resistance 1)

I'm interested to see how Soap's incorporated into this. He's a person which you normally only see the hands of for the reason of actually being that character, I wonder what they'll make him look like, and what he'll sound like. If he's the mohawk dude in the new trailer, looks kinda badass I guess.

The first two CoD games were two of the greatest WWII games ever. The expansion (United Offensive) for the original CoD wasn't that bad either.

I'm waiting to see what IW can do when they have the opportunity to make a deeper story (something hard to do in the first-person only, 1 game per story, way that the Call of Duty games do things).
