You can clearly see that the background is just a still image from the ODST trailers. The colors are incorrect. The offsets to the lower left of the screen do not use proper Hexadecimal values. Characters like I,N, and H are not hexadecimal values. The transition between the menus are incorrect. They simply fade.

Yes. It is all fake. The numbers on the bottom rotate between 3 sets of numbers. And they dont even use hexadecimal characters still. The bungie intro uses the wrong font and animates wrong. As for the picture. I can do the same thing to edit the icons for con files. Infact, I even made a tool that does this. And most CON resigners have this feature. p0lar_bear why would you fall for this! Also, the clouds in the background loop if you didnt notice. Much like they do in the video. And the spot light of the phantom can be seen looping like they do in the video.

I'm very skeptical that someone would be enough of a retard to violate the NDA you'd sign to play this beta (especially after the pwning that happened to the guys who leaked that Last Resort footage), though due to all of the tricks, double-crosses, and double-double-crosses I've experienced during my stay on the internet, I can't help but have a little doubt and consider the possibility that it might be real.

As for the rest of the stuff, I too believe it is fake. I think I might of read somewhere that this was actually created by a Halo3infinty member as an April Fools joke. The only thing that would have come close to tricking me was the original composition in the menu (it wasn't in E/Eb, that sorta lost it for me). Other than that, anyone could make something like this with a little effort (someone mentioned XNA somewhere).
