The flash drive I installed halo on has an invalid CD key. I don't have the disk with me, but I do have the v1.00 installer with me.

Yeah, I'm out. No way to get the CD from here, and there are no .iso s that do not require a torrent (which I am NOT setting up on a computer I don't own), so I have no way to play the game.

Due to the amount of TF2 I've been playing, stalemates have started to annoy me, and those flag settings are great stalemate prevention. It drives me nuts when I almost capture the flag and push the game along a bit further, only to get cheapshotted right in front of my base and lose the flag to some random enemy who just happened to be standing there.

Sounds gay, tbh Halo is more about the stalemates and the teamwork required to RECAPTURE THE FLAG!

Which is why you also turn off Flag At Home To Score.

I hate Halo 3 CTF because of the return time. It makes the game fucking cheap, especially in Halo 1 because you're not even capable of returning your own flag.

The touch return adds to the fun and the stress that made the original Halo what it was. It takes a little getting used to, but it really makes the game more competitive and drags out the fun. You REALLY need your full team's cooperation to capture the other team's flag, or else it will just end up getting returned.
