View Full Version : Bunghole Reunion Maps/Gametypes (Weekend of 4/17)

Vote in the poll above to decide on the maps/gametypes to keep. Decide on the ones you had the most fun (or will).

DO NOT PICK MORE THAN 5-8!

The top 8-10 maps with the most votes will be chosen for the next gamenight.

C3LL is already included in the cycle as a filler. There is no vote for it.

Stunts on either Death Island, Danger Canyon, or Infinity will conclude the night. There's no vote for those either.

ALSO, READ ON...

I want feedback on the gametypes. I want variety, but I also want gametypes to fit the maps they're on. All I've really played on these maps was CTF, but having CTF for 10 games in a row is like beating a dead horse. What maps should be paired up with what gametypes?

Do some gametypes other than just ctf.

Deltaruins - Team KoTH or FFA Oddball (instead of cmtctf)

Oddball is a good idea. That actually might not be bad on either TrainingDay or fissurefall.

All of them are good maps.

Although one we should do is Danger Canyon Stunts after we play a round of all of those maps and gametypes.

It's near impossible to drive on that god-awful terrain and the steep-ass cliff path just makes for base-camping and falling off when it gets laggy

other than that it's ok

IIRC low base won, I think the map is well balanced.

It is.

It's fucking impossible to go up the hill with a hog, meaning that lower cant get up, and higher cant get back up.

It's the same for Red Feather Ranch too.

Also, more suggestions:
Training Day - TS
Delta Ruins - FFA Oddball (iirc, we played this during beta(? or pre-release) stages and it rocked)
No Remorse - TS
x2 Mudslide - Assault (red assault blue)
Grove Final - Team Race
Immure v2 - TS
Outpost Rio - Team Race

IIRC low base won, I think the map is well balanced.
...and I had like a 3:1 K/D ratio on the lower team, I'm not talking about whether it's balanced, I'm talking about how the way it's made just makes it fucking annoying

Just added over 1200 shortcuts from HCEL's database for the heck of it. Figured they would come in handy for stunts and filming purposes...

Immure 2 is a must. 'Long' CTF (10+ caps) on LBX is perfect (better than team slayer, I'd wager), as it's a fast map when you know what you're doing and you can cap out fairly quickly. NMC has to be included in any Bunghole reunion. No Remorse is great fun with short-ranged weapons and Mudslide is a fucking awesome map I haven't played for ages. Fissurefall was probably the first CE map I played and it's very neglected. Grove is a good map, so I see no reason why not there. WTC is compulsory.

I haven't played HaloCE a huge amount in a very long time, mostly due to really bad integrated GFX. Now I can run the game decently... I'll see if I can't join in. By the way... what time during the weekend of 4/17, or is that to be decided still?
