SMG and Beam Rifle tags should be easy enough.

Modify an Assault Rifle, modify it's trigger damage to add slight permanent camera impulse, tweak the damage and error to your liking. Be sure to save any modified tags in it's own tags/weapons/smg folder.

For a beam rifle, modify something like a plasma pistol, take away the second firing mode, and make it fire modified sniper rounds. Tweak heating and error, add some zoom. As always, custom folder in tags/weapons.

Be sure to set up item collections to use in Sapien as well.

Like this:

The middle one is more modern I suppose, it will probably look better and be more appealing.
Or if you want futurism make them a combination but more the middle on so its kinda curvy but its not where its part of the road...
But then again this is your map I suppose, so do whatever you want, keep it the same idc.
Im just saying I dont really think its right.

*double-take* Holy shit it's me from 4 years ago.

I don't mean to be rude or offensive, but I have to be blunt. In several months you'll have realized how difficult this is going to be, and either you'll stick with it and produce something of value to the community, or you'll let the project wither and die like so many others.

The reason I don't immediately shoot this down with the "lmao" that first came to mind is that a: this appears to be better thought out than the original idea for BCE and b: that city bsp you have, while nothing special, beats the crap out of the first bsp I made for BCE.

So, I'll say: stick with it. I would recommend that you never allow yourself to be content with it as-is, to continuously refine your ideas so that in the end you produce something good (because what you have now is like so many other ill-conceived ideas that have graced this forum, including the original concept for BCE), but then, I announced BCE in 2006 and today it shows no signs of life... so my advice may not be the best.

At the very least, good luck.

You'll have to do a lot better than an extremely simple bsp with one texture and some basic idea for the story to capture anyone's interest. IMO this project is too infantile to even be posted about right now. Get a lot more done, then post about it.

The story is complete, we just need to get the entire BSP modeled. Along with getting the tags. We also need someone to help with the textures.

The story line is done and complete. I have posted more pictures above. I was not done gathering up all of the pictures.

What the hell is this?

I suggest starting with a smaller project first and looking at some references of human buildings. If that's a building which I'm guessing it is. My first SP mod fell apart half way through because I didn't under stand the engine well enough. Something similar will probably end up happening to you.

Also, no, seeing as it has around 10k triangles.

We are not done with anything right now.

Not being done isn't an excuse for sub-par work. I suggest you take a long, hard look at the human city levels of H2 and H3 before you go any further, rather than try and make a box look less like a box by blowing polies better used elsewhere.

Hey, first of all, you don't just decide to do this. I specifically DIDN'T post this on modacity because I knew it was below their standards. Next time, ask the other teammates before you do this. And why, oh why, did you post that horrible dumpster and yield sign?

CSFLOYD

That smg...:shake: It has so many errors. fix them, they dont need to be pointed out because they are huge.
The rest looks nice, and wth is that building of blocks for?

Pretty much this.

Those signs are too thick, the buildings look way too boxy and almost nothing like human stuff, the dumpster is bad, and lots of other things are horrible, to say the least. Why don't you go watch the H3:ODST trailer about 10 times, google dumpsters and signs, watch some more modeling tutorials, and learn about poly counts.
