What's it like compared to standard Sims 2?

Anything new, other then 'graphics'?

Mostly all design improvements. You can now accomplish more things without jumping through hoops. Like you can make stuff on diagonals now. You can also choose a custom color for anything so you're not limited to just what the catalog has.

Can you trap 4 sims in a room, delete the doors build a fireplace make them sit down and fill the room with benches?

Can you still put the bastard in a pool and delete the ladder?

All of these are important "features" every sim game should have.

Would you recommend it to fans of the series? What do you think they've improved on the most gameplay-wise? What could have been improved on?
