Yeah so I updated from the beta to the RC and it fuxed up my drivers...
It's like it doesn't even recognize it anymore... I have followed all the steps that were provided here (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/829478) and here (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/179113/) and it still doesn't work...

I have provided a pic in case it is needed.

it's too big for img code.

Intel(R) 82915G/GV/910GL Express Chipset Family
with the Intel Graphics Accelerator installed.
Yes I use GMA 900 but I can't find an installer that works to install the GMA 900 so right now it's without it.

I have installed all the latest Directx drivers so don't ask that.

Why are you even using that card?!

Anyway, did you install drivers (no not DirectX) for that card or did you let Windows install the drivers during the installation?

Try a Windows Update, see if there are drivers for it.4

Btw. 32bit or 64?

Is it listed as a Standard VGA Adapter in Device Manager?

(This might be why) (http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/GettingReadyforWindows7/thread/a3b2d7ff-a1bd-49e9-9be0-3a7306fcbc8d)

1) Cuz when I took it into best buy to upgrade they said I didn't have enough PCI ports to upgrade...

2) I let Windows install the drivers during installation (it was a full install not just an upgrade)

3) I have tried and there are no updates... although when it was a beta there was an update for it idk why it's not working now

4) 64bit

5) Yes it is (it wasn't like that before when it was windows xp, vista or 7 beta)

6) I have seen that article this morning actually, I was waiting for a update but so far nothing.

Look for the vista 64bit drivers in the intel downloads page? They should have

You may as well get another VGA...or rollback?

this isn't a laptop is it?

1. You should have an AGP slot or PCI Express slot to use for a graphics card...open up your case and it should be the biggest slot there. I'll be damned if a machine like that doesn't have an available slot for something.

This, I'd be extremely surprised if your motherboard is COMPLETELY lacking some type of VGA bus. It's not like you're going to break your computer by taking the side panel off and LOOKING at the slots. Take a picture and we can tell you what you can/can't upgrade to.

Well I checked Dell to see if there were any driver updates here (http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/driverslist.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen&ServiceTag=&SystemID=DIM_PNT_P4_3100&os=WW1&osl=en&catid=&impid=) but there were none.

I'll take the side cover off and get some pics. Yeah I was very confused about that to when I went to best buy, I had a new power supply and everything to power the nvidia gfx card I picked out. :(
Well I'll post back her with pics later on.
Right now I'm seeing if maybe it's just the 64bit OS and downgrading to 32Bit
