Bunghole Summer Bash Games

Alrighty guys, as discussed before, we'll be having weekend (as in Friday through Sunday) gamenights at the Bunghole/Bungie Server through out the summer. The games will be filled with custom maps throughout the night (very rarely will there be a Bungie Map). It's the frecking summer so come join the summer fun!

In preparation of the games, we'll be having a little "drill" on Saturday. It'll just be a Gamenight with custom maps, just a little taste of what to expect for the summer.

With that being said, read on:

Information:

Server Name: !!BUNGHOLE- SUMMER WEEKEND BASH!!

Password- None, "smar" if a pass is in place (This will be ONLY in extreme cases)

Offical Start Date of Summer Bash Games: 6/12/09

Offical Starting Time: 7:00 Eastern

Map Policy: Custom Maps for the most part, NO beta tests will be performed during the gamenight. If you have a new map that you would like to be played, then we'll consider playing it. Donations of maps are greatly appreciated!

Gametypes: Donate any gametypes if you have any special ones! As mine can sometimes be the "wrong" ones...

Map Lists: Will be posted 24 hours prior to a game night. I'll even post the mapcycle so you can double check to see if you have the right maps. Map Pack donations will be greatly appreciated!

rec0 policy (ADMINS READ): Keeping it on Saturday just to see how it responds for the most part. Do NOT use rec0 for any purposes other than admining the server (kicking, banning, /afk, /sc, /names). Any abuses should be reported (with proof) to myself and I'll review for possible action (seriously don't make me do it...). If stunts is on, feel free to /veh, /t, /st, ect all you want. :rolleyes:

Birthdays!: If it happens to be your birthday on a certain day of the games, let me know and suggest a map! Please don't fake a birthday just to get a map on here... Will remove if this becomes a problem...

Test maps, there were some fun games on older maps, but honestly they get boring fast except for a select few (nmc, wtc, etc) the new test maps spice things up great.

Though the banlist size was epic, It's possible that some of the people on the list may be reformed and now constructive members.

That, and why have it waste time loading a lolhueg banlist when probably 50% of the keys on it aren't being played on anymore?

I've also noticed that changing it to be the "Offical" Bungie Server I've also gained users. One of the leading reasons why I decided to use the gimmick. :haw:

Dealing with a retarded fake alert Trojan (damn thing actually played sound in the background which scared the heck outta me..) at the moment and it's really ticking me off... Should be fixed soon but we'll see.

So my greatest fear has come true after over five years, it's time to reformat... However, I need your help. Rams, if nothing but your wallpaper is showing, try pressing ctrl-alt-delete, and make a new explorer.exe process.

That usually fixes it.

If he got the same shit I got, chances are the virus infexted his explorer.exe and taskmgr.exe and his antivirus app probably vaulted/deleted it.

Rams, if shit comes to shit, you have a spare PC/laptop to work with, and you have an external drive large enough to accommodate your C:\, I have some tools I can send you to help you with making a backup, given you don't already have what I use.

@Selentic, the Draco test map hasn't existed for years. Literally. And at that, it never had Race or CTF... Or Oddball... or King... And it didn't really have Slayer either. What you have? First I had something called FakeAlert which I think I killed off. However, Cryptor is still alive and am trying hard to kill it. Managed to get AVG to start up which is promising. In an hour I should know whether or not I at least got the damn thing to die... Not letting this thing go without a fight. The task manager's fine which is good. However, I believe explorer has been infected and is gone....
