Is it possible to get bitmaps that are not by the power of 2 ingame and working?

Depends on what you're using them on.

Sprites can be any size (that's for particles and HUD elements) but just about everything else (textures) has to be a power of two.

Didn't e3pos tool do that? I still have a working version of it.

Last time we (zteam) tried bypassing the error ourselves, the bitmaps just showed black ingame. But I suppose it's possible we overlooked something.

I got them ingame, just not working, they show up blank for me aswell.

Ah well you can still scale them to 512x512 or 1024x1024 and it should be fine right?

not to mention it would only be a sprite and be completely FUCKING ANNOYING if it was ingame.
