Alrighty kids, let's try this again! Finally got the server up and running. Only problem I have right now is the maps which got messed up because my internet decided to reset and mess up all the maps that I uploaded. No biggie, that's easily fixable so no worries about that. And remember what I said about Birthdays? Well it seems that tomorrow someone is turning the big 2-1.
With that being said, in honor of that member and his contributions he has made to the HCE community with all his amazing maps (one of which happens to be my favorite). I'm letting this certain member make the mapcycle tomorrow. Normally I would just allow someone with a Birthday to pick a few maps but turning 21 and making sweet maps deserves this once in a lifetime opportinuty.

Last weekend we were playing on my server on Friday (crashes? nay, wrong maps/server going down randomly, 300 ping because my up sucks) and another server on Saturday (if you were having problems on Saturday, they have nothing to do with me). This time we'll be playing on the real Bunghole!

Arteen, 15-20 maps is fine. As far as maps suggested, so far I haven't received any for this weekend. Last weekend Pipedream and TM Fracture were maps that were suggested. And personally I would like a game of MASK on oddball. For some reason I happen to enjoy that map quite a bit. Your call though, your birthday bro.
And for those wondering about whether or not I can play this time, yes. My computer is back up and running (woo). :)

No, that wizz on halomaps is a leak and is not the most recent build. You can check this thread http://www.modacity.net/forums/showthread.php?t=15719 for the most recent build.
EDIT: You beat me to it and I think I should reupload the most current build. Filefront stopped hosting it.

Would like to see it with alot of people again like in the beta's, instead of just 6 all the time, its always a blast with alot of people.
If you do, make sure you just do "tm_fracture" "ctf" or the weapons won't spawn right for some reason (spawns with a chaingun? wtf?)

When I said lagy, I meant FPS lag.
Having 100 ping on your own server? Not the map, because I remember seeing you with 200 ping on Grove Final when my ping busted for some reason.

Hopefully today it'll be on the Bunghole... Right now I'm in the process of reinstalling CE so I can do an experiment on the server. Thankfully I have all the maps and gametypes on my external. Otherwise it'll have to be on the Bungnull again. :|

The Bungnull records the pseudo-key, you need to go find the reverse algorithm.

Experiment was a failure. Reinstalled again, server was up and running stock maps no problem. Stopped the server, uploaded just c3ll and all the gametypes. Restarted and no success. Deleted that c3ll off the server, and uploaded a freshly downloaded c3ll from halomaps and even created a new gametype. Restarted and still wouldn't start up. Filing the complaint today, there's something wrong with this thing cause I've done everything to get this thing back up and running.

Well I just made the gametype today to test it out. Even downloaded C3LL from halomaps to test it. Thing is, it works just fine on mine at home. So why is it that every time I upload something as simple as that, it doesn't want to come up?
One simple map and a freshly made gametype not working? Common.

Those maps are proof-positive that you shouldn't hate on newbie mappers. They can become great too! Aren't you guys glad I didn't take the advice to stop making maps for CE, oh so long ago? :cool:

For the time being, NMC and C3LL are being played. There are still some problems that need to be ironed out and it has to do with rec0, init, and possibly some maps being corrupted. Explains why the server was down for awhile...
Playing NMC at the moment so come on in!
