Just in case anyone was wondering if I were kidding...I did finally get the video card and set it up and started working on this unfinished map. I restarted it from scratch and so what you're seeing here is my initial rough lay in.
Essentially a horseshoe shaped map, with a road that follows it's borders and a non-vehicle path through the middle between bases that's a maze of rocks with an open arena in the center. There's also a set of caves along the bottom and the sides. A portion of the central structure will be accessible as an open sniper post that you can teleport to.

This looks really nice. Architecture seems weird, not in a bad way but it's like diffrent and interesting.

The textures look pretty boring. If you're looking for appropriate desert ones I'll look into hooking you up with the revelations ones when their all ready to go, shaders and all.

This is looking really cool. It's not often there's a map with it's own visual style. Can't wait to see how it turns out.

The textures look pretty boring. If you're looking for appropriate desert ones I'll look into hooking you up with the revelations ones when their all ready to go, shaders and all.

He said its an initial rough lay in... My guess is the geometry and textures will be spruced up.

this looks really cool. i don't see the gameplay from your shots, but i'm sure it's all there. but more pictures would be nice :)

Give us a top-down view (easiest to get with either devmode or just a quick render) so we can see what it's all about. It definitely has the potential of becoming a very majestic construct.

Obviously so lol. Reminds me of the layout of that one h2v map (forgot the name, Damn!)
