View Full Version : Can't Create .map With Windows 7

When I tool the .scenario to create the map file in cmd as a non administrator, it says it works but when I check the map folder, there's no map to be seen. And when I tool it to create the map file as an admin, it says "I need to get the following tags: mapname.scenario." Even though I typed everything exactly the same as when I did running cmd as a non administrator.

This is the only thing windows 7 has kept me back from creating maps for Custom Edition, every other step works perfectly fine.

Protip: Do everything as administrator. (Including creating the scenario file, etc.)

Or just install CE in your Users/<NAME>/ directory and avoid UAC+Program Files issues.

I'm with Masterz. I've had this computer running XP for about 6-7 years now. My brother has run through 4 laptops running vista.
