Long story short, I want to make the glow sprite black. Halo's bitmap pipeline doesn't like that; it interprets black as transparency the level of tint, and despite trying everything I can think of, I can't seem to change that.

Any way I can do this?

Not as far as I know. I guess best you could do is purple.

Eh, I've found a similar effect with an alpha-multiply blend function in a contrail. Not what I was hoping for, but it gave me another style by which to develop.

I'll have something more for you guys tomorrow.
