07.12.09 18:59:32 EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATIONThat last one is probably your issue. I'd check to make sure you don't have any dev hacks open at the time, the files open in different programs, etc. Try restarting the computer, which should shut down any outside programs causing that.

1. I don't use Dev Hacks.

2. No program is using the scenario files, and tags other than Sapien itself.

3. Restarting my computer did not fix it.

So yeah, kind of thinking of overwriting the tags, but then the backlash of having corrupted bitmaps isnt good.

Halp! D:

delete or rename open sauce if you have it.

if not, and you have a multi core proc, when you open sapien, go into the task manager and set the affinity to only one core, then open your scenario.

Don't have open sauce, and setting the cores down to one did not fix it either.

I want this to be fixed, so I can modify Cityscape...

maybe some files are set to read-only?

Try extracting all the sp maps if you haven't. Back when I first started doing sp mods I tried opening a scenario after only extracting one sp map and it wouldn't work. After I extracted them all, it worked.

Normally the tags folder is read-only, unchecking it doesn't fix it, as it goes back to being read-only after checking it again

Also, it's still saying that.

Try duplicating the tags folder into a non-read folder? Then set the new one to full access, see if it stays that way, and swap the folders.

I used to have this error. I'll try to remember what I did to fix this, but until then I'd suggest making sure any abnormal DLLs aren't in the HCE directory.

I got this too.
What I did to fix it is just to extract the .scenario file using HEK+ (compile the map if you don't have the same build ATM), make sure the checkbox next to the .scenario file is checked, and overwrite the file.
Should fix it.

I'll be happy to inform you all that I fixed the problem, and none of you had the right answers :iamafag:

All I had to do is replace my ahobo.exe file, apparently it was corrupted.
