Adobe Illustrator Error 129

Has anyone here come across this issue with Adobe Illustrator? It gives me error code 129 when I try to do almost anything, even saving. Searching yields no results.

This problem makes Illustrator nearly unusable, so any help on the matter is appreciated.

I'm on Adobe Illustrator CS3 13.0.2.

Used three different version of Illustrator, and never ran into that error. I'll see what I can find though.

the one fix I saw, and worked, to rectify error 129 is to reset your viewing preferences. i know that can be a bitch, especially in illustrator, but it should work.
