View Full Version : Xbox Updating Games Issue

Okay so, I recently got XBL working where my xbox is normally at, using bridging.

So I plug in GTA 4, about to own some noob hookers, as you do. And it pops up saying theres an update. So I trundle along and press A to confirm, and the download bar fills. It then reboots and signs me out, it then says "Cannot update as you arent connected to XBL" or words to the same effect.

How can it download it, via XBL then not think its on XBL? Any ideas how to fix this problem people?

Naw because I could sign in to XBL and was able to play online games, just updating was issue. Unless the updating issue broke before XBL logging in did.

Try running it in administartor? That's what I had to do for fallout 3.

Are you using a wireless adapter? That could be cuasing the problem.
Although I think it's an issue with the recent patch they did.

Well it's on a wire bridge to a laptop however that is on wirelessly. Updating worked for Halo Wars, I think I'll plug it into the router via a wire.
