In addition to what's been said about the direction (or lack thereof), you've just got this all, all wrong. Ghost, Snaf, Zilla, and Llama aren't enough of a cast. You don't know enough about the personalities behind your cast members to know what role they'd play in a gag.

Thanks for trying, but I can't really put it any other way: don't bother. I'm glad we didn't wait a week for this, it would have been a huge letdown.

The idea behind this comic requires more than just a couple people putting their observations into a few frames. This can either take off and be a huge hit, or it will crash, burn, and cause a lot of unnecessary drama. Being a comic about the community as a whole, the community needs to have input, while somehow deferring people who're just looking to get internet famous for five minutes, and keeping the workload as reasonable as possible for the artist.

Okay the comic was pretty poor in quality, the writing was shocking but he never posted saying it was a masterpiece and Shakespeare would be proud, he said from the start he didnt like it much, but he did it to kick start the idea back up.

I dont really like the idea of a comic based off community, it wont really have a good base and meh just doesnt have a good appeal, but that doesnt mean you guys should tell him just to stop making them. Dont crush the artistic flow thats coming from him, channel it into goodness, polite, visioned criticism is the only way forward to actually helping.

This comic is nothing more than the tip of the iceburg as far as the mass self-idolizing and circlejerking that occurs; the excellent post flibit made is a perfect example of the true wit that circulates this forum. We've been live for what? 3 years? And the only real breakthrough I've seen here is Kornman's and Admiralbacon's work for Halo. I mean, with your average post quality being akin to something that Deehunter or Inferno would carelessly toss into the forum, can we really consider ourselves a legitimate and fruitful community? This community is still in development stages as far as I'm concerned; we should be spending time on things that will make this community stand out from the other forums, not just some little meme-ridden little cesspool.

There is no community here, it's just a group of random kids that just happened to stumble upon an internet board. If we were a true community, we would be working together and achieving things unimaginable compared to what you can see on the forums now. Wake up, please. No, this is not me bashing this forum to bash it(for the most part, we have a great administrative team), I really want to see this place go somewhere. After we're at presentable level, then we should be concerned with stupid shit like this. Until then, we're just on the fast-track to being another 4chan (only we justify these shitposts by somehow relating it to games here and there.).
