seriously, has anyone ever played a game with a woman without all of the sexually insecure guys trying to woo her? every girl i have ever played with on xbox live was a bitch
.... then again "bitch" describes about 85% of the xbox live population

Securom, et al.
You guys may not care about my particular reasoning, but I'll let you in on it anyway: A lot of them break under Wine. When I read that a game has/will have/whatever one of these anticheat/DRM libraries, I rage.

Heh, yeah. It breaks on the OS it's designed for too.

Fuck punkbuster in the ass. Took me ages to get it up and running for Cod 4, at that point I didn't give a shit and got the 360 version instead.

i think securom is the main issue, i don't really care if its certified for windows live or not if so then great because then i can talk to friends over the live network while their playing their xbox games.[imn staring at you shirayukijr]
Where nas securom makes me rage.
I got my father fallout3 for fathers day this year and because of the bull that is securom fallout 3 crashes to the desktop as soon as it starts loading.

I remember Intel Extreme Graphics, unfortunately. Integrated as a rule isn't the end of the world (I've seen some pretty good frames on certain integrated units), but Intel Extreme Graphics most definitely is. My Intel 82845G chipset made my Radeon 9250 look phenomenal.

Same here. Actually requiring vista that scary anymore though. Better to say "requires whatever the last windows is and absolutely nothing older."
"This account has been suspended from XBOX Live permanently."
PC gaming only, dude. Consoles :gtfo:
Also, why is "originally seen on the xbox" scary? There are a few xbox-to-PC ports that weren't bad at all, like the first splinter cell
More scary words:
No voice chat support (for new MP games, of course there's nothing we can do about it for old games)
"Your password is incorrect" showing up on Steam after you've entered what you're sure is the right password many times, indicating your account must be h4xed.
Well, there are no actual words for this, but one scary part is when you've just installed a new (newer than 2004) PC game, you go into the video options to adjust settings, only to discover that widescreen resolutions aren't supported.

I don't understand the mouse and keyboard one. You will not have a PC game without mouse and keyboard support, so that shouldn't even be an option.
Also, Securom is terrible, but it isn't much of a fear if you crack the game. Even with the games I buy, I use whatever cracks there are available to prevent having to activate the game or use a CD play it.

At least there's a hack to enable it, iirc.
At any rate, mouse and keyboard controls would be horrible for RE4. It would make the game way too easy.
