Alright so winter is coming soon and I'm alittle dissapointed because I won't have anywhere to do my sprinting workouts and such. I then saw this thing called "screw shoes" which helps with winter running. Have any of you guys tried this? I would sure love to sprint on Ice without falling on my ass.

Sounds similar to cleats.

I can see them working when you step down onto the ice to keep yourself stable and create some sort of traction but once you go to step off I can see the force on the ball of your feet causing the ice to give way and cause you to fall on your face.

Basically, I don't think it's going to work, although I've never had any experience nor heard anything to support either point of view on these.
