I found the grind to be minimal, and I leveled up doing mostly story line quests in the open beta. :raise:

My experience was quite different. Most of the open quests involved killing x number of spiders/bears/bores/bandits/hobos.

Then they had the nerve to cap my level :<

What race did you start out as? Elves and Dwarves have the best starting area.

@Paladin:
Make characters on Landroval, I have some weird fascination with helping out lowbie characters while I'm on one of my big guys... Must be some kind of godlike syndrome.... Either way, I'll bring my Guardian and we can rip shit up.

Honestly, I haven' played a lot since Moria was released, Angmar was an awesome end game zone, and they opted to increase the level cap instead of expanding the content properly. And the Legendary weapons system is HORRIBLY broken, beyond repair since they're probably never going to fix the damn thing.

I play on Vilya. I just started playing last weekend and play about 1-2 hours a night. Though last night I played from 4pm to 4am :o I got lost in time.

I am an Elf Hunter level 22.

Ugh, you, Amit, and I should all start fresh on a different server then. Or pick a server that one of us has mains on in case we need help later on (I recommend Landroval, heh). I'd love to play with you guys but I don't want to loose out on my ability to bring in the big guns if I need them (no I'm not character transferring, dicks).

I'm going to be playing it A LOT more once my third monitor arrives.

I've already progressed so much on Nimrodel that I am loathing starting again. However, sadly my kinship has been disbanded on Monday. I'd been with them for 2 years...an original from Beta. Oh well. I would start on a new server if we had at least 5 people.

I don't actually mind creating a secondary main on a different server as the Grind to level 50 is not hard at all, I just don't have too much time to play. I could spend a good two hours doing some random quests and level up twice.

Kalub, I absolutely guarantee you that you will never be able to arise to the ranks that we have for playing LOTRO. WoW users are ever below our superior skills for playing a superior game.

No seriously, LotRO requires more than button mashing, sorry!

Paladin, Amit, if you guys get some characters on Landroval... I've been wanting to start a Warden... We should play some tonight, Amit get on Xfire!

I don't really like playing with XFire in the background because it takes up resources, which isn't a problem for you. I'm running a fresh 7 install from last Sunday, though so it shouldn't be a problem.

TF2 is much more superior as far as MMOs go, took me so long to level that backburner (http://www.tf2items.com/profiles/76561197997404725) to 99.

It's also not an MMORPG, so that's a moot point!
