Website is currently down so I can't buy it, but developers 2D Boy are offering the game for whatever price you choose to pay, even if it's only a penny.
I'll give em whatever is left in my paypal account when their website comes back up :neckbeard:
Try not to be cheapskates and only give them a penny :maddowns:
E: Download is back working, gave em $4.00

Gave em $5. Nothing beats paying 25% and still not being a cheap bastard! I used the download option 2 from the FAQ section of the website to get my download link faster. I never got the email from 2DBoy, so that helps greatly. I'm gonna go install it and play to my heart's content now! :neckbeard:
Edit: This game is actually brilliant!

A prepaid (Credit) Gift Card works just as well as a credit card.

Also since the game defaults to 800x600 and there are no options in game go to Program Files>WorldOfGoo>properties>config to change resolution. I used 1920x1080 and it works fine.

I love freebies and 1 cent purchases.
E: having played it, this would have really deserved it's normal asking price.

Got it, gave em $2 since I really had no interest in buying the game. Quality seems at about the iPhone app level (minus decent soundtrack) so I felt that was fair.
Did a few levels and it's pretty fun, although I can't seem to get Corporation to connect for some reason...

You're saying iphone apps don't have decent soundtracks and this one does right?
The WoG soundtrack turns a game about gooball physics into an epic adventure which made me more interested to beat it than I was for Halo 2 :v:

Literally, haha I signed onto Steam and saw that I already owned this game.
I guess it was in that big Indie Dev game pack that was on sale like three months ago. :P I do not regret my purchase of the game the second time haha. Now I have it for Mac and PC! lol

Lol. World of Goo was actually pretty fun. I just wish you could have turned up the resolution and what not. Oh well. Cool stuff all the same.

No, they specifically added the feature in the second patch so that the images would scale.

The only advantage to this is having it on your steam so you can download if you ever lose the install, otherwise :ugh:

uhh, because you bought it full price so they're not gonna take it away from you. The downloads are temporary for the current deal.
If I ever lost it though I'd just find a torrent of it, I payed for it so its not like They're losing money on it.

World of Goo is on sale on steam for $4.99 today only, went ahead and picked it up to have a version tied with steam and it also felt deserving since I paid 99 cent last time.
