There's some more links in there, I read the comments at the bottom and they are scary, especially the second one. I do not know if it is true however (that comment).

Its the goal of liberal policies to create a larger welfare state, which during election years, will vote solely for their provider.

It is the goal of conservative policies to create a state owned by corporations and the wealthy, which during election years, finance election campaigns so that the politician will enact policies that support corporate interests at the expense of everyone else in the country.

I can play this game too.

KEN ROGULSKI: Why are you here?

WOMAN: To get some money.

ROGULSKI: What kind of money?

WOMAN: Obama money.

ROGULSKI: Where's it coming from?

WOMAN: Obama.

ROGULSKI: And where did Obama get it?

WOMAN: I don't know. His stash. I don't know. I don't know where he got it from but he's giving it to us, to help us. We love him. That's why we voted for him. Obama! Obama! Here's how another woman responded to Rogulski's questions:
ROGULSKI: Did you get an application to fill out yet?

WOMAN: I sure did. And I filled it out, and I am waiting to see what the results are going to be.

ROGULSKI: Will you know today how much money you're getting?

WOMAN: No, I won't, but I'm waiting for a phone call.

ROGULSKI: Where's the money coming from?

WOMAN: I believe it's coming from the City of Detroit or the state.

ROGULSKI: Where did they get it from?

WOMAN: Some funds that was given by Obama.

ROGULSKI: And where did Obama get the funds?

WOMAN: Obama getting the funds from... Ummm, I have no idea, to tell you the truth. He's the president.

So you're telling me that uneccessary dependence on the government is ok? When did we loose our dignity? No matter how bad Id have, I would never sink that low. And we wonder why we are so lazy and millions of jobless...

Wow...

I don't even want to start with you since you can't seem to put up a valid argument or a complete sentence.

pal, theres some serious holes in your argument (and thats a big stretch to call it that)

Please, point them out to me my holes in my argument. Please tell me how spending trillions of dollars will help my economy. Please tell me how expanding government in necessary areas is a good thing. Please tell me why I should work hard and pay outrageous taxes so that some lazy punk can collect welfare and unemployment for 14 months while they sit on their ass all day. Please tell me, once you run out of rich people to tax, where is your income going to come from? Where, and it will be, 80% of the public is dependent of government money to support themselves, where are they going to get money? I know! Let just print more! /sarcasm. Please tell me why the average government employee is paid $75,000 a year when someone in the private sector is paid on $44,000. Please tell how the government is going to pay all their employees, include welfare, social security and medicare/Medicaid when 60% of the public works for them.

go back and re-think.

Ive thought about everything Ive said and everything that is happen politically in my country for years. If your going to say my thinking is flawed, answer some of those question legitimately, because that is whats happening.

because afterall we both know that 2 trashbag chicks speak for the entire liberal movement.

With that logic, we both know one person doesn't speak for the entire conservative movement. Maybe you should hold yourselves to the same standard as you do me when you talk about Sarah Palin. Oh wait, you cant. And Im a racist because im conservative and dont like Obama.

Ha, thats funny, what happened to the other 185,600, 998 people that are waiting for their welfare, food stamps or subsidies checks.

hell, it's better then sarah palin.

Sarah Palin is a joke. 98% of the world and anyone with a brain knows that. When you tell me you take Bill Maher seriously, ill take Sarah Palin seriously.

All this crap of "redistribution of wealth" is bull shit. It has absolutely no positive effect. All it does is create a dependent, unmotivated, ignorant, and lazy population. Oh wait, we already are. I might as well quite my job that I work 30 hours a week at and stop going to school for an excellent education to get a better job. I should just sit at home all day and collect food stamps and welfare checks. I might as well file for unemployment. Im well over qualified for it. I might as well embrace this fantastic life style of blah.

whats the point pal.

you aint gunna listen to what i have to say anyway.
and as for this

because afterall we both know that 2 trashbag chicks speak for the entire liberal movement i used your own logic against you when you said this.

This is what Obama is doing to American People.... Forget the audios from Rush Limbaugh, listen to the two women...

So you're telling me that uneccessary dependence on the government is ok? When did we loose our dignity? No matter how bad Id have, I would never sink that low. And we wonder why we are so lazy and millions of jobless...

bloody conservative always say the sky's falling as soon as theres a change in anything that the government does whether it's health care, or support, or payments... but you've got absolutely nothing to back it up with. "YEAH BUT EVERYONES GUNNA BECOME HOPELESSLY DEPENDANT AND AND AND LIKE NO ONE WILL HAVE ANY REASON TO DO ANYTHING.

it's the same fucking argument as "if there was no hell people would have no reason to act morally, because without the threat of eternal damnation why would they bother?"
which is the biggest crock of shit i've ever heard.

and no 75 000 is not a huge amount of money to make in a year.
and 44 000 is fucking laughable and pathetic and it's a result of no regulation or pressures on employees to raise the wages. And it's happened because assholes like you have perpetrated this myth that these issues have everything to do with the government and not corporate greed.

"The inherent vice of capitalism is the unequal sharing of the blessings. The inherent blessing of socialism is the equal sharing of misery. "
- Winston Churchill

“To take from one, because it is thought his own industry and that of his fathers has acquired too much, in order to spare to others, who, or whose fathers, have not exercised equal industry and skill, is to violate arbitrarily the first principle of association, the guarantee to everyone the free exercise of his industry and the fruits acquired by it.”
-Thomas Jefferson

“A wise and frugal government … shall restrain men from injuring one another, shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government.”
-Thomas Jefferson, First Inaugural Address, March 4, 1801

“…[T]he government of the United States is a definite government, confined to specified objects. It is not like the state governments, whose powers are more general. Charity is no part of the legislative duty of the government.”
-James Madison

"Government's first duty is to protect the people, not run their lives."
-Ronald Reagan

"Man is not free unless government is limited."
-Ronald Reagan

“The Constitution only gives people the right to pursue happiness. You have to catch it yourself.”
-Benjamin Franklin

“I am for doing good to the poor, but I differ in opinion of the means. I think the best way of doing good to the poor, is not making them easy in poverty, but leading or driving them out of it.”
-Benjamin Franklin

Socialism's great, by the by. I don't get why people don't get that.

The idea that anti-socialists like to toss around, and which I'm seeing here, is that people can do no work and get by. You can still socialize your government while keeping incentive to work for your money. Frankly, people living solely off the government should live life with no extra money for cable, internet, designer-clothing, that sort of deal. The bare minimum. Some people might be surprised to know that you can still get by without those things. The Amish do it.

Without socialized welfare, you'd have a lot more homeless people. Not because they don't work, but because they can't work. Without socialized welfare, what would we do about the mentally handicapped and disabled? They're referred to as "burdens of the state", because it's the country's job to support them.

Then of course there's police departments, libraries, fire departments, all this other stuff that's offered to the public through socialized government programs. Everybody glosses over the social programs they're used to, but they're quick to jump on something new, just because it's different, even if it's been proven effective in other countries. (Looking at you, socialized healthcare) Though, admittedly, everything doesn't work everywhere, and since America has a lot more citizens than Canada or France, or others, it probably needs some adjustment.

Pure, hardcore, hammer-and-sickle, quota-meeting, hay-bailing socialism is hard, if not impossible to find these days, so I don't know why everyone jumps on the Red Army rhetoric when someone cries for a little more taxation.

I'm not even sure if this is what this thread was originally about, but I think it's fallen off the rails, guys. Anyways, just saying it as it is.
