I know that this doesn't really warrant a thread of its own, but I was wondering which one of you was a fan of Tom and Jerry. I know there was a thread involving it like a year ago, but the forum search turned up nothing. If any of you are fans, let me know. I recently came into possession of something fantastic...

Tom and Jerry pulled off what would be banned on TV if it were modern. Extreme violence, racism, and animal cruelty all in a child's show. There is no way not to like it. What have you are possessing?

Tom & Jerry got away with what makes modern media corporations blush. i remember Tom's old owner use to be that big black woman, she was alwise fun to watch, poor tom just got whooped when he failed to catch jerry xD

only ones i didnt like were those one with the weird sound effects and pink panther style art, it was all :|

When I was little the only cartoons I would watch were some of Dexter's lab and Tom and Jerry, only good kid cartoons there ever were on CN.

Whats more clever is that red + blue = purple, so on his birth certificate it said purple team, and he is purple.
