Made by Skyline & Patrickssj6

After I lost the source for my Map Manager duo to reformatting, Skyline IM'ed me and showed me his version which was way better then my old one.I helped him here and there so MOST OF THE CREDIT GOES TO HIM.

Any bugs please add in this thread.

Before you guys cry you will need .NET Framework 2.0/3.0:

And the download (V2.1!):
http://files.filefront.com/MapManagerexe/;7352775;/fileinfo.html

This program uses .Net Framework 2.0 which can be downloaded from Microsoft:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=0856EACB-4362-4B0D-8EDD-AAB15C5E04F5&displaylang=en

This program will need the DXTweaker for the use of the camo fix for the nvidia gfx cards:
http://gbxforums.gearboxsoftware.com/showthread.php?t=60814

This program enables and disables maps by putting them in the folder "Deactivated_Maps", which is create for you once
you set the directory for haloce.exe.

Instructions:

Put this file into your halo custom edition folder for it to work properly.

Credits:

Patrickssj6 for adding the camo fix for me and fixing up the code and errors. He helped
me learn how to use visual basic as well and helped me along the way.

:D ENJOY!:D

Yeah totally.Even though you download at your own risk.

I can just guarantee you that I haven't purposely tampered with it.

If you do Windows Update and accidentally download everything like a maniac you have 3.0:D

i don't quite get the Map Manager V2 though, i meant by are there any limitations to the application, or rules, my thought was straying, so i was thinking about having all maps "activated".

The MapManager disables all the maps that you don't want HaloCE to load.So if you want to test 1 map you only have to load 3 secs instead of 1 minute.:)

no lol Just a shitbox puter ;)

Dano u gotta Upload Pics of that Pute, it's funny as hell xD

edit: can ya Have Like Map Folder Groups, and then Just load all the Maps in that Particular folder?
hmmm like u only want to load the maps for 1 specific Server, and rather then Selecting them Individually u just Select a Map Folder "group" and it'll Load all of them for ya.

I have one question...How do you read the config files into an app? I've been trying to figure it out for awhile...C# or C++ code, please.

You mean like settings?Like Folder Paths?

Hehe.It's very easy in .NET.

Under My project (in the solution explorer) there is a category called
"Settings".

You can add strings there which are saved in the exe file itself.

My.Settings."Namehere"="Hello Sage"

Hmm anyone else getting this problem?

Can you tell me how much RAM and CPU the prog uses while you get that lag?

Strange...cause I thought it may be caused due to an endless loop but the mem and cpu seem fine.

Can't think of anything really.:eyesroll:
