You should remember that not only people with god-like systems get selected for beta tests like this, they need to see what the game will run like on your 10 year old hardware as well!

• 1 GB system RAM/1.5 GB for Vista and Windows 7
• 128 MB NVidia GeForce 6600 GT/ATI Radeon 9800 PRO video card
• 1024x768 minimum display resolution
• 4 GB free hard space (Beta)
• Broadband connection

I wonder how well that minimum system would run Starcraft at the minimum resolution? Whether they aimed for it to look decent and run smooth on that system or whether that's the minimum that'll run it at say 30fps with the settings turned down?
