I'm extremely bored with just about every game I have. I'm looking for something that I can either A) sit down for hours and play or B) sit down for 30 mins and play a quick game. Price don't matter. Genre don't matter. FPS, Strategy, RTS, whatever. I just need some suggestions for something to do in my spare time when I'm not working / in class / studying. Halp please :saddowns:

The first three Command & Conquer games are freeware, most recently Tiberian Sun so you should get on that because they are one of the best RTS games ever.

Race Driver: GRID is a great game. I love it. Got it on steam for $7.49 US during the holiday blitz sales. Got L4D1 for the same price as well (too bad nobody plays it anymore). :smith:

As if I haven't already plugged this game enough, Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast. Easily the most varied and interesting game to ever use the Quake 3 engine. The single player Campaign alone can last you forever with huge replay value, and tons of interesting console commands you can mess with. The multiplayer ranges from serious roleplaying to fast paced, competitive CTF. This game and its counterpart, Jedi Academy, have had and still have an amazing modding community that has created everything from entirely new SP campaigns to amazing multiplayer maps like this (http://jediknight3.filefront.com/file/Kamino;29228), every character skin you can imagine, and even some really strange things like a massive gore mod. Some of the mods for Jedi Academy such as JA+ or ForceMod have huge communities of their very own that exist apart from the rest. There are very few other games that offer as much value for as little money.

Oh snap. I haven't played that game in fucking AGES. Time for a reinstall. Pooky is right btw, the campaign mode will last you a pretty fucking long time.

Does it have offline bot support? I've played DOTA a few times and enjoyed it but those matches can last hours if played right and sometimes I only have like 40 to 50 mins of free time between classes to play and I rather play a game that wouldnt affect my rankings
To everyone else:
I already own all of the unreal games and all of the source games (except L4D2). Unreal doesnt seem to have too many people online anymore, and TF2 (dont kill me) seems boring as hell for me now.

No offline mode that I know of though they might add it in the release. Games typically last between 20-60 minutes. It's not unheard of to have games last longer but it usually doesn't.
