Anyone live in San Fransisco that could offer a couch to sleep on for a few days?

Hey there, I'm lookin at going to GDC, and I'm a cheapass... so I was wondering if I could stay with one of you guys for the weekend or something. I'm gunna be moving soon, so money isn't exactly super easy to come by right now... so... if I could get a hand that'd be awesome.

Either way, just thought I'd bring this up here.

Just for reference, GDC is going to be held at
Moscone Convention Center
North and South Halls
Howard Street, between 3rd & 4th Streets
San Francisco, CA 94103

and I'd probably be attending there next friday/saturday (12th/13th) Thursday is a super maybe.

Anyhow, is anyone else going? It'd be neat to meet up with ye.

I had a chance to work GDC, but I couldnt afford plane tickets :/

The plane tickets for me aren't bad. It's only a little over $200 for the tickets round trip.

I just worked out it would cost me $880 to get to SF from London. :D

SO are you going to GDC with a group (but staying separate locations) or are you going in lone soldier style.

I should be meeting up with a bunch of people from school there, but it's been really quiet in terms of them actually saying who's going and such.

I ended up finding a stupid cheap hotel ($39 a night) haha. It gets the job done.

The first day of the Expo is over now, I'm sitting at the convention center still, uploading a video to Youtube (video I recorded and edited a few days ago) 'cause I don't have internet at my super awesome hotel :P.

I'm going to be putting up a daily vlog type thing when I get home, different video for every day of the expo... not going to bother editing it all while I'm still in Cali.

Also, ICEE, do you live near the Moscone convention Center? I think it'd be cool to meet up with another Modacitian. I'm free Sunday/Monday if ye wanna meet up :P.
