I'm not the guy who generally asks the internet to help with his HW, but this time is special.

I've got a 6 pager due next thursday on the effects of labels on a child's outlook. (social labels, etc). This would be no problem if it were purely based on my opinion, 6 pages in nothing. But I need to cite 10 different sources and I honest to god can't find any relevant shit. Anyone got any ideas? read an article lately or something?

HS or college? Peer reviewed journals (scientific journals) are a wealth of information. Trick is finding (http://www.google.com/#hl=en&source=hp&q=search+peer+reviewed+journals&aq=1&aqi=g2g-sx1g1g-msx2g-m1&aql=&oq=search+peer&gs_rfai=&fp=c78e48b898b2787e) the papers.

Another one I do alot, is put the subject line into Google. E.g. "USA 2007 Video Game Demographics" or "Neural Networks the evolutionary technology" and I add "filetype: pdf" (remove the space) to it. This means the search only shows up pdf files, which usually contain alot of information.

Example:
http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&safe=on&q=neural+networks+the+evolution+of+technology+file type%3Apdf&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=
(http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&safe=off&client=firefox-a&hs=45w&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&q=neural+networks+the+evolution+of+technology+file type%3Apdf&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=)

filetype:pdf

not quite as good as filetype:eng101:df, but that's a pretty good idea.

Hit up your local library. They probably have a couple of online database subscriptions that you could hit up.

also:
only peer reviewed articles.
