Come on, I know I'm not the only one graduating from high school. What are your plans for after high school?

Graduating a week from this upcoming Tuesday. I'm going to a tech school to get an Associates in Programming, then I'm going to the local university to get a Bachelors (or better yet, a masters) in Computer Science.

While my school chums are enduring their Senior Prom and its aftermath this weekend, I am enjoying a summer skiing trip.
Headed off to UMD for a 5-year CS master's program.
And I had a really weird dream about my school having graduation practice in a farmhouse and being left behind by the vans that took people there. and then the vans drove into trucks and I had to run at 50mph on a dirt road to get back to school.

Going to a community college to get the basic out of the way and earn an associates dergree. After that I'm going to a university and study computer science and photography. thought to me its pretty overwhelming since I'm the first in my family to go to college, so I'm pretty nervous... :(

Got a summer internship in the IT department where my mom works, making $12 an hour, 8-5, probably averaging about 600-900 every pay check. Local college in the fall, getting core classes out of the way, then transferring to a university after 2 years. No major as of yet.

Summer working with my cousin doing some HTML, css and all that jazz. May be looking into server management but it won't be much (yet, anyways).

Graduate this Friday! :D My school's pretty cool because seniors can be exempt from exams (pending absences) and we also take exams a week before everyone else, so I've been of summer vacation for a bit now. It's nice, but also really sad, because I've accomplished a lot in HS. So where am I going? Well I couldn't make up my dang mind and only visited two colleges. No college really impressed me through their mailings/flyers so I really had no idea where I wanted to go - I knew that I had to like the campus and the town that I was living in. So I guess I'm going to enroll in Collin County Community College for a year then hopefully transfer somewhere afterwards. Going to major in Business or Economics. Should be fun. Planning on creating a dodgeball, hockey, and poker team in college.

I graduated last night, a huge storm interrupted the ceremony and we had to go inside to finish it. My buddy Xam Mollu was there taking pictures and as soon as I passed him, I whacked him in the head with my diploma. I didn't eat until 10 o clock and my acid reflux kept me up all night. That'll be a night I won't forget for a long time.

They aren't actually going to give us diplomas at our graduation, just the folders to hold them in. We have to go back to our school in like the last week of June to pick them up. From what I hear, that is actually a very unpleasant experience for the mere purpose that you are walking through the school again.

Our school did the same kinda except we just walked into a room at the end and grabbed our diplomas. Oh and last saturday (June 5th) was our gradumation ceremony. We had a kid with I think cerebral palsy and some kind of mental disorder to go along, walking across the stage nicknamed champ, and we all did our "raging bulls stomp" for him, which he got so excited he fell over on the stage. Then we all got up and clapped for him, increasing that excitement so much the kid behind him had to help him walk across.

Apparently the piece of paper they give you is blank and just for show, makes sense. Those bastards better say my name correctly, its not even that hard.

Most of the graduates got pissed off at graduation because our counselors didn't organize the diplomas, and even worse one of the counselors weren't there and didn't have any diplomas. :/ That shit was hectuic

Commencement is shitty in June. Doesn't give the students who need one more credit to graduate the time to go to summer school and earn the credit before the rest of their grade graduates.

We don't actually get our diploma's at our Commencement, they're mailed to us at a later date. We just got empty folders.
