Cropped out the third monitor on the left because I did the background wrong, also my DSLR doesn't have a high enough horizontal pixel span to do this with one image across all three monitors... Need to do a small pano to get it perfect.

He means the Rainmeter Icons. Well there you go. It's called Rainmeter. The icons you saw in Yoko's image is Rainmeter's default theme, Enigma, so no additional downloads are necessary. I used to use Rainmeter and then I realized that it was basically useless unless I was looking at the desktop the whole day. It takes up resources that would be put to better use elsewhere. Mostly everything I need is already on the Windows 7 taskbar and if I want to check the weather, I simply use the Aero Peek button on taskbar.

Well, it certainly depends on the skins you're using. I combined and simplified other skins into one status skin. I don't know if that helped maybe... but obviously anything with images in it or things requiring big dll's to function will use more memory.

Well I've only used the Enigma theme and I don't have it running all over the place. I just had the sidebar to the right with a Todo list and some Hard drive statistics, mainly. Oh and the weather thing too. I tried to keep the desktop clean. Now I just take the effort to go to the weathernetwork.com since I like having a less cluttered desktop.

It's openable in notepad, there's only one line associated with the notes skin - it's the default set of variables for the enigma skin. I guess I just need to find a font that looks nice at that size. Thanks for that though.

e:There's an antialias line in the skin's config file, but all it does is blur the text %-)
