Just tuned into the tennis and wow, game has been playing for 7+ hours over 2 days, 43 games to 42 record length.

It'd a french guy, Mahut vs an American, Isner I'm rooting for the American, he's 6 foot 9.

Both hold record amount of aces, both hold longest Wimbledon gane and longest ever tennis game. This match is rewritbg the history books.

Worst part is winner has to play tomorrow, no rest after this long game.

If you've got wimbledon on tv, go watch it

thus last set has been going for 5 hours.

Match time 9 hours, set time 6 hours, 50 games in this set each, American nearly has 100 aces.

American just managed to save 2 break points.

10 hours, stopped due to light issues, continuing tomorrow, hopefully getting rest.

Normally I don't give a shit about this kind of thing, but my brother (who's a big tennis fan) tipped me off about an hour ago and I couldn't stop watching. I can't possibly imagine the kind of mental fortitude needed to not just fall down on the court and give up, on both sides.

E: inb4 it goes to ~120-120 games tomorrow and gets suspended again.

tennis is one of the most gruelling sports there is.

i cant think of anything as tacing as sprinting as fast as you can and then throwing a punch as hard as you can every 4 seconds for hours on end

Well it has just finished 70 - 68 to the American John Isner.

Feel back for the French guy as he list and they made him stand next to the scoreboard.

I missed that match, and I feel bad for missing it. Still, I heard the American won, so the French guy must have been like "i just played 10 hours only to lose shitshitshit."

Did anyone see the 3rd round of the womens singles? I think it was Sharapova and Strycova. But there was some serious grunting going on in that game. Commentators even said one of the players grunts is 101 something decimals, which is louder than a chainsaw. Pretty funny imo
